Total Mix Sports

GLOBALGAMES®SPORTS are committed to ensuring that everyone regardless of age, sex or ability can participate with and enjoy our products.

As a result we have prepared a guidance policy for our games and try to take into account all users when designing new games.

We also actively source new products which meet these criteria and, in some cases, set new levels of accessibility and enjoyment, such as Total-Mix Sports.

Rather than creating individual activities for individual abilities Total-Mix activities are wholly inclusionary, that is, non-running sports activities which are dependent not upon strength or speed, size or age. In Total-Mix sports, players do not play against on another, they play alongside one another. And no one is excluded. the non-athletes do not sit at the sidelines. They are not spectators, they are participants.

With Total-Mix sports, you find that coordination and practice, developmental skills and pre-figurative intelligence - rather than stature and stamina - determine athletic proficiency.

TrickShot Basketball is a perfect example and the game's inventor, Dr. Reeve Robert Brenner, designed the game in 1978, so that he could play alongside his cousin Janis, an accomplished wheelchair athlete. Dr. Brenner was especially determined to design a sport which they could play together that did not put either one of them at an advantage. Due to its inclusive design, TrickShot is a "win-win" sport.
